Invoke your muse while stretching your legs and breathing fresh air with this easy-to- moderate hike through desert sage, cactus, and native grasses with towering red rocks all around. Possible dinosaur track sightings, too! We will tread lightly, keeping our eyes wide open for metaphors all around. During a water break, we will enjoy a 10-15 minute Plein Aire free write and share, with paper and pens provided.

carpool from Kane County Information Center (78 S 100 E -across the
street from Hampton Inn and Ramsay’s Service Station in town) to
Distance: 1-2.5 miles, group dependent
Bring: Layered clothing, sturdy walking shoes (no flip flops or sandals), water
bottle, sunscreen, sun hat, trekking pole (optional) Paper and pens
will be provided.
